It’s with much excitement that we are able to announce a NEW program that Christian Services is beginning in February 2016. Thanks to the J Marion Sims Foundation, “Saving Our Families Together” will focus on building strong families that provide the love, support, steady source of income, and the moral and social reinforcement children need to thrive. Like Nehemiah who led the Israelites to build the wall around Jerusalem, we believe that each of us has a responsibility to rebuild our part of the wall of our community to insure that the future of our children and grandchildren is secure, safe, and prosperous. Saving Our Families Together is our part of the wall because our mission to strengthen families with children by involving the community will be achieved through the partnership network that will address many of the struggles and issues facing families today.
Attending an Anger Management class may feel a little intimidating at first; however, you could learn valuable life skills that help you gain better control over your emotions so anger doesn’t cause problems in your life. Anger management classes are for anyone who wants to get a better handle on their anger. A mother who yells at her kids, a partner who says mean things during arguments, or a supervisor who blows up at his employees are just a few examples of the type of people you might encounter in an anger management class.
